Bus Accidents in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Transit-related accidents, though less frequent than car crashes, can still lead to serious injuries—especially for bus drivers and passengers who are often unrestrained during travel. In Milwaukee, where public transportation plays a key role in daily commuting, any collision involving a city bus can cause major concern for passenger safety.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, crashes involving transit vehicles can result from distracted driving, speeding, mechanical failure, or driver fatigue. Rear-end collisions, like the recent one on Route 92, are especially common in urban traffic settings.
Injured victims may face mounting medical bills, time away from work, and emotional stress. A bus accident attorney can help pursue compensation for hospital expenses, lost wages, physical therapy, and pain and suffering. Determining liability is key, whether it rests with the driver of the other vehicle, the transit system, or a third party.
